There are a ton of great choices available when it comes to camera options for recording your outdoor pursuits, but one of the coolest gadgets currently on the market is the SOLOSHOT 3. Essentially, the SOLOSHOT 3 is a robotic camera system that is designed to get you the shots you want without having to hire a camera operator to follow you wherever you go. The technology uses a waterproof/shockproof tag that the subject wears and the SOLOSHOT 3 will follow the movement of the tag for up to 2000 feet.
The system offers a couple of different camera options that clip directly onto the SOLOSHOT 3 base. While the Optic25 camera is a solid option, if you want to get the most out of your SOLOSHOT, the Optic65 is the way to go. With 65x optical zoom and a 1/2.3” backside illuminated CMOS sensor, the Optic65 can shoot in 4k at 30fps, 1080p up to 60fps, and 720p up to 240fps for slow motion playback.
Unlike previous generations of SOLOSHOT systems, no calibration is required, and it can be moved at anytime and it will continue to automatically track the subject.
